Meet Christina Maliska Schreiber

Christina joined Interwell Norway in january 2011 as a Quality & Support Engineer. She has a Bachelor degree in Petroleum and has 5 years experience in completion equipment at Baker Oil Tools.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"Christina, please tell us about your previous working experience":

 

" I started my career in the Sand Control department for an oil service company. After finishing the 6 months trainee period, I worked as a Sales Engineer for 2 1/2" years with the main focus being on lower completion solutions for the Statfjord LL Field. I moved on as a Technical Support Engineer in the Sand Control Group, which also involved development of new technology and having a mentor-role for new trainees. After 2 years in this position my job became more related to QHS&E, participating in establishing a systematic archive for product drawings, procedures and tech unit updates."

 

"What made you apply for a position at Interwell?"

 

"I had been working with my employer for 5 years and wanted a new challenge. I applied for a Sales & Application Engineer position at Interwell for many reasons. Interwell is still a small, but dynamic organisation. It is Norwegian, solid and has a successful history. I got recommandations from two former colleagues, now happily employed at Interwell. After the interview I had a good feeling about the company and its organisation. I felt it was easier to make a significant difference in a small company and hopefully take part in the exciting future progress."

 

"You have now been working in Interwell for 7 months. What have you experienced so far?"

 

"I started as a Sales & Application Engineer, but after a few months I was given an opportunity to participate in the QA department as a Quality & Support Engineer. I am responsible for the technical part of QA/QC, which gives me an opportunity to make a difference, to built the system as we want it to be. Because it is a small organisation, the process from an idea to action is dynamic and gives all employees a chance to develop the company together with a forward thinking management. I really like my job and my colleagues, it's a friendly atmosphere and I feel like part of a team reaching for the same goal."
