Harald, please tell us about your previous working experience:
"After I finished my Doctorate at the University of Bergen in 1995, I moved to Trondheim (Norway) and started my career at Statoil's Research Centre as a Project Engineer in Multiphase Flow and Thermodynamics. After 5 years I moved positions internally and became a Well Completion Engineer at their Heidrun field. The work was related to both onshore planning and offshore completion operations. I also had some rotation offshore as Well Operations Supervisor.
After more than 11 years in Statoil, I was given an opportunity to work for a major oil service company as an Operations Manager at their Trondheim office. After a re-organisation in the company I started to work in the Sales department as an Account Manager with responsibility for Operations in the northern part of Norway."
What made you apply for a position at Interwell?
"I like to explore opportunities that come along, and Interwell seemed to be an exciting company to work for. I applied for the position at Interwell for many reasons, it is a small, dynamic company with Norwegian owners and I liked the fact that it had a technology department in Trondheim. I also got recommendations from former colleagues and business associates."
You have now been working at Interwell for 5 months. What have you experienced so far?
"I started as Senior Technical Advisor at Interwell Technology in October 2011, giving operational input to the Design & Development department in Trondheim. After a few months I was offered a new position as CTO in Interwell AS (Corporate Management). I have extensive oil industry experience and hope to give a significant contribution to front our business. In these few months I have come to know the organisation globally, we have positive and enthusiastic colleagues and to be CTO in a fast growing technical company is a dream come true."
