Project planning, started in 2016, had the goal of improving the wellhead barrier situation and reducing the wellhead outlet footprint by implementing double barriers and supplying real time monitoring - or in other words, installing MSAS-G and VR Sensor systems. It then developed over the next couple of years with offshore installation starting in Q2 2023 and coming to fruition in December 2023.
